At Options for Women, Help for Families we rely on community support in order to achieve our life-affirming mission. There are many ways to support our ministry efforts to affirm life.
Monetary Donations
Options for Women, Help for Families is a recognized 501(c)(3), charitable organization and as such, your monetary gift is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. *Individuals and businesses who contribute at least $100.00 to a pregnancy resource center (PRC) such as Options for Women, Help for Families during a calendar year are eligible to take advantage of the PRC tax credit. Options for Women applied and was accepted by the state of Missouri to participate in this tax credit program effective July 1, 2014, to date.
Material Donations
Material goods are provided to our clients through our “Earn while you Learn” parenting class incentive program. Consider donating any of the following items:
- Disposable Diapers and Wipes
- Formula and Baby Food
- Baby Clothes (Infant to 2T)
- Baby Wash/Shampoo/Hygiene Items
- Baby Toys
- Receiving blankets/Swaddlers
- Baby/toddler Socks
- Teethers/baby toys
- Baby Bath towels & washcloths
- Paper Towels/Toilet paper
VOLUNTEER
We are looking for volunteers: those with a heart for the unborn and their families.
We are looking for assistance with a variety of positions including:
- Prayer Partners
- Get your church or organization involved
- Provide office help
- Providing material needs
- Teach parenting classes
- Special Events and Fundraising
- Organizing Material Goods
CHURCH LIAISON
Be a voice for the ministry of the Options for Women, Help for Families pregnancy resource center by keeping your church or organization informed. Place announcements regarding important information in your church/organization’s bulletins and newsletters. If possible, verbal announcements to your membership are also very helpful. The good news of Options for Women, Help for Families and the needs of the Center are constantly changing. We need partners to be the information link for churches/organizations.
PRAYER PARTNER
We need volunteers to pray for the success of the center. Those we serve often need our prayer support. Consider adding Options for Women, Help for Families to your daily prayer list or contact us for special prayer needs.
